Meanwhile Balls of Steel, which shows things like a guy taking a paint stripping hot air gun to the chest, or another guy getting his arse belt-sanded, is probably the most jaw-dropping show I’ve seen for a while. It’s a step up (in pain at least) from Distraction, a nod towards the Japanese game shows – which are a world of their own’… have a look on youtube for japanese game shows, you’ll see what I mean.

Minidiscs are really good recording tools for interviews and all kind of sounds.

This is a fantastic site for those hunting for useful software for mac.
Highly recommended, and it goes to show that most software is now available on the mac – even those that make it work more like a PC.

This is a great list of free material. and right up there with nothickmanuals. Well worth a look.

It’s a vector graphics program a la Freehand or Illustrator – but its free and open source.
Easy to use – have a look at it on inkscape.org.
